1. Who we are

Cloaked Innovations Limited (“we”, “us”) is a Kenyan company that supplies non-pharmaceutical and equipment supplies to institutions, organisations and businesses. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our postal address is P.O. Box 7562-40100, Kisumu, Kenya. 2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and keep the website working.

• Enquiry form: your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, the subject of your enquiry, the products and quantities you need, and your message.
• Live chat: your name, your email address if you choose to give it, and the messages you send and receive.
• Emails and calls: the messages you send to us, and the details needed to reply.
• Basic visit information: which page was viewed, the website that referred you, and a random session identifier stored in your browser. We do not use it to identify you by name.

3. How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations.
• To reply to chat messages and emails, and to follow up on a request you have made.
• To keep the website secure, prevent misuse, and understand which pages are useful.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

4. Our lawful basis

We process your data because you ask us to (so we can answer your enquiry or quote), because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing a business website, and where the law requires it. If we ever rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5. Browser storage

The website does not use advertising cookies. It stores two small items in your browser’s local storage: a random session identifier used for basic visit counts, and, if you use live chat, a conversation identifier so your chat can continue. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

6. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the website, store enquiries and handle email. They process data only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Some of our service providers process data outside Kenya. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry, chat and email records for as long as they are needed to deal with your request, to keep reasonable business records, and to meet legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data, including restricted administrator access. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the enquiry form or chat.

9. Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya you may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop or limit how we use it, and you may object to certain processing. To make a request, email info@cloakedinnovations.co.ke. We will respond within the time the law allows.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.

10. Children

This website is for organisations and businesses. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
